The Drifts are light weight machined Aluminum, and are clearly labeled for each bearing size needed for installation. I already installed 4 6902 Bearings in a Novatec Rear Hub D882SB Unit with ease! They slid in very smoothly, and easily without a hitch. Great Budget line Bicycle bearing press kit.

For an inexpensive bearing press you cannot go wrong. I considered a much more expensive unit, but decided to give this one a try. Even though the drive screw appears to be small, it has withstood everything I have thrown at it so far. The press bushings/sleeves are sized correctly and work very well. Don't know if this would stand up to routine use in a bike shop, but for a cyclist doing their own repairs, this should do the job just fine. |
This is a really nice kit with plenty of adapters for just about any bearings you will have on a bike. I really like that they are aluminum and the entire kit is nice and light... but you probably don't want to use this on heavy duty auto or machine bearings. It's made for bikes. One odd thing is in the listing title where they include the term "bearing removal". No. This is a bearing installation tool. You need a blind bearing slide hammer tool to remove most bike bearings, at least if you want to do it the correct way. |
Seems like a really nice press kit for thegoods. The case is a nice touch, the hinge has an axis pin so it will last longer. It’s lined with high density foam and there’s enough space in it that the drifts can be double stacked and not stored on the press arbor as shown in the ad. The press arbor is a 1/4” diameter acme thread...this is a good thing! I’m happy about this purchase. I think this is going to be a very good tool. |
Great bang for the buck. Can’t go wrong with machined aluminum. There’s literally no huge difference in top brand bearing presses. Seems it’s be compatible with other similar products from other brands, so your okay if you needed to add more pieces later.Press block taper design, press in only outer ring contact bearing outer cover, effectively protect bearing damage. |

I mainly purchased these for wheel bearngs but was surprised when my normal bottom bracket tool couldn't work with the bike I was building but this kit had exactly what was necessary to do the job and it worked perfectly. |

I bought these for the same reason but got so confused I ended up returning them and bringing my bike to my local bike shop. It seems these will remove the pivot bearings but you need another tool to install new ones. |
